Guest Speaker - Blase Ingoglia, Candidate for Florida Chief Financial Officer
Blase Ingoglia was born in New York City, and attended Queens College, and Brooklyn College. In 1996, he moved to Spring Hill, Florida and started the companies America One Mortgage and Hartland Homes.
He ran for office 2008, spending nearly fifty thousand dollars of his own money "to unseat the career, big-government, tax-and-spend county commissioners from office that refused to offer property tax relief," an effort that was ultimately successful.
Ingoglia was elected as the Chairman of the Hernando County Republican Executive Committee in 2009, and then was elected the Vice-Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida in 2011.
In 2014 he was elected to the FL House of Representatives, serving until 2022. At which time he ran for and was elected to the FL Senate seat from Hernando County. He served there until being appointed FL Chief Financial Officer (a cabinet position) by Gov. DeSantis in May 2025.
He has also been a very successful homebuilder and publically traded stocks investor, as well as serving in elected or appointed key positions in state and county government and political positions for 15 years.
Guest Speaker - Jay Collins, Candidate for Florida Governor
Jay Collins was born in Scobey, Montana. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in health sciences and pre-medicine from American Military University, and a Master of Science in organizational leadership from Norwich University.
Collins served in the United States Army from 1995 to 2018, including as member of the United States Army Special Forces. During his career, he was assigned to the, Special Warfare Medical Group, 7th Special Forces Group, and 1st Special Forces Group.
As a Green Beret medic, Collin has several combat tours where he was shot in the arm and helped perform surgery on himself in the field of battle. A few months later, he sustained injuries that would eventually lead to the amputation of his leg years later. Following his amputation, Collins re-qualified as a fully deployable Green Beret and served over five more years on active duty. He retired from the U.S. Army at the rank of first sergeant.
In 2022 he was elected to the Florida Senate D-14, endorsed by Governor DeSantis, defeating incumbent Democrat, Janet Cruz. He was appointed as LT Governor in August 2025, by Gov DeSantis to finish the term, after the resignation of the incumbent LT Governor.
Guest Speaker - Jorge Malavet, Candidate for US house FL District 9
Jorge was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and raised on the island, in New York, and in New Jersey. Has been a Floridian for thirty years and a Central Floridian for fifteen.
In September 2025, he completed a decade of federal service with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as Branch Chief for Budget, and Financial Management in the Southeast Region Directorate.
Before starting his civilian Federal service, He retired as a U.S. Navy Supply Corps officer with twenty years of service, enlisting at 18 then completing his college degrees during personal time, then officer candidate school for his commission.
With USN and Federal service he has over thirty years of experience leading people, managing resources, and guiding organizational change across public and private sectors.
In 2014 he also earned a law degree at Barry University while living and working full time in Orlando.
